Talnua Distillery is America’s first Single Pot Still whiskey distillery.
Our story begins in a pub in Galway where Patrick and Meagan Miller sat on their honeymoon in 2011. It was there that they tasted the first Single Pot Still Whiskey to be released in almost 70 years. The love affair was instant. With family history rooted in Irish ancestry and knowing that Single Pot Still Whiskey was not yet available in the US, they set out to create the first Single Pot Still distillery outside of Ireland. Talnua Distillery was founded in 2017 and aims to marry the Gaelic tradition of distillation with an American terroir.
