Job summary

HRI Hospitality's bartender position is at a historic Plymouth Building property in downtown Minneapolis. The role focuses on crafting cocktails and delivering exceptional guest service to business and leisure travelers.

You will prepare cocktails, greet guests, maintain bar cleanliness, restock supplies, and handle payments with POS while upholding sanitation and safety policies. A high school diploma is required; one year of bartending experience is preferred, with certification a plus.

• Knowledge of drink recipes, mixology, and POS systems required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve cocktails, beer, wine, and other beverages according to standard recipes.
• Greet and engage guests, take orders, and provide recommendations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar area, including counters, equipment, and glassware.
• Restock liquor, mixers, garnishes, glassware, and supplies throughout the shift.
• Process payments accurately using POS systems; handle cash and tabs responsibly.
• Verify guest identification to ensure legal drinking age compliance.
• Follow all sanitation, safety, and alcohol service policies and procedures.
• Assist with bar opening and closing duties.
• Report any equipment or maintenance needs promptly.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Pay Range:

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bartending certification preferred (where applicable).

Experience

Skills & Knowledge

• Strong customer service and communication skills.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for long periods.
