Job summary

Recess Hotel & Club Savannah, opening Fall 2026, is seeking skilled Bartenders for Le Flâneur, our signature French brasserie. You’ll join a vibrant team delivering thoughtful hospitality, superb beverages, and guest connections in an upscale setting.

As a Bartender, you will craft cocktails and wines, guide guests through selections, maintain a pristine bar, and collaborate with servers and the culinary team to ensure seamless service.

Qualifications

• Previous bartending experience required; upscale dining, cocktail bar, or hotel experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits, wine, beer, and beverage service standards.
• Passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Experience with POS systems and cash handling procedures.
• Stand for extended periods and lift/move bar supplies as needed.
• Professional presentation and grooming standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and service standards.
• Provide attentive, personalized service to guests at the bar and throughout the dining room as needed.
• Develop a thorough knowledge of Le Flâneur's beverage program, wine list, food menu, and daily features.
• Guide guests through beverage selections and make recommendations based on their preferences.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar throughout service.
• Accurately enter orders and process transactions using the point-of-sale system.
• Monitor guest alcohol consumption and ensure responsible alcohol service practices.
• Prepare garnishes, syrups, mixers, and other bar ingredients according to established standards.
• Perform opening, closing, and side work duties as assigned.
• Collaborate with servers, server assistants, culinary team members, and leadership to ensure seamless service.
• Manage inventory levels and communicate product needs to leadership.
• Maintain compliance with food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations.
• Build relationships with guests and contribute to a welcoming and engaging atmosphere.

About the role

Le Flâneur, the signature French brasserie at Recess Hotel & Club, is seeking skilled, energetic, and hospitality-driven Bartenders to join our team.
