Recess Hotel & Club Savannah is seeking skilled Bartenders to join Le Flâneur in delivering exceptional beverage experiences. You will craft cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic drinks while engaging guests with hospitality and precision in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has a passion for cocktails, wine, and guest connections, with strong communication and multitasking abilities. Evening, weekend, and holiday availability is essential to support lively service hours.

Qualifications

• Previous bartending experience required; upscale dining, cocktail bar, or hotel experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits, wine, beer, and beverage service standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Experience with point-of-sale systems and cash handling procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and service standards.
• Provide attentive, personalized service to guests at the bar and in the dining room as needed.
• Develop knowledge of Le Flâneur's beverage program, wine list, food menu, and daily features.
• Guide guests through beverage selections and make recommendations based on preferences.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar.
• Enter orders and process transactions using the POS system.
• Monitor guest alcohol consumption and ensure responsible service practices.
• Prepare garnishes, syrups, mixers, and other bar ingredients.
• Perform opening, closing, and side work duties as assigned.
• Collaborate with servers, culinary team, and leadership for seamless service.
• Manage inventory levels and communicate product needs to leadership.
• Maintain compliance with food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations.
• Build relationships with guests and contribute to a welcoming atmosphere.

About the Role

Le Flâneur, the signature French brasserie at Recess Hotel & Club, is seeking skilled, energetic, and hospitality-driven Bartenders to join our team. Inspired by the timeless charm of a French brasserie, Le Flâneur offers a vibrant dining experience rooted in genuine hospitality, exceptional food and beverage, and meaningful guest connections.

As a Bartender, you will create memorable experiences through thoughtful service, expert beverage preparation, and genuine guest engagement. The ideal candidate is passionate about cocktails, wine, and hospitality, with the ability to balance efficiency and precision in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining a warm and welcoming presence.

What You'll Do

• Prepare and serve cocktails, wine, beer, and non‑alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and service standards
• Provide attentive, personalized service to guests at the bar and throughout the dining room as needed
• Develop a thorough knowledge of Le Flâneur's beverage program, wine list, food menu, and daily features
• Guide guests through beverage selections and make recommendations based on their preferences
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar throughout service
• Accurately enter orders and process transactions using the point‑of‑sale system
• Monitor guest alcohol consumption and ensure responsible alcohol service practices
• Prepare garnishes, syrups, mixers, and other bar ingredients according to established standards
• Perform opening, closing, and side work duties as assigned
• Collaborate with servers, server assistants, culinary team members, and leadership to ensure seamless service
• Manage inventory levels and communicate product needs to leadership
• Maintain compliance with food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations
• Build relationships with guests and contribute to a welcoming and engaging atmosphere
