Responsibilities include processing orders in the POS system, balancing cash, and maintaining a clean, organized bar area. Prior bartending experience and Ramp certification within 30 days are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bartending work experience required.
• Ramp certification within 30 days of hire.
• Meet minimum age requirements of jurisdiction.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation and service of alcoholic beverages.
• Basic mathematical skills to operate a cash register and make change.
• Basic English writing skills for requisitions, balance sheets and vouchers.
• Ability to read, speak and understand English to communicate with guests and take orders.

Responsibilities

• Maintain proper and adequate bar setup daily, stocking beers, wines, spirits, and supplies.
• Maintain stock of fresh garnishes, juices and perishables to ensure quality.
• Greet guests, document orders, mix drinks using recipes, check IDs and comply with liquor laws.
• Input orders into POS, create checks and balance cash/payment records.
• Reconcile product and cash to maintain accountability of all beverages served.
• Receive cash, make change, verify charges and balance all money.
• Lock and store beverage, food and equipment, deposit cash drops and balance charges.
• Attend mandatory meetings and keep the work area clean and organized.
• Adhere to all state, federal, and corporate liquor regulations.
