Job Summary

Summary: Prepare and serve beverages to guests in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Adhere to liquor laws regarding serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests.
• Set up bars, stock all supplies including beer, wine, spirits, garnishes, and glassware.
• Maintain stock, prepare garnishes, and ensure product quality.
• Greet guests courteously.
• Take and process drink orders, mix drinks, and garnish.
• Verify guest IDs.
• Detect guest intoxication and act accordingly, demonstrating liquor law knowledge.
• Handle cash, verify charges, and record transactions.
• Secure all beverage and food items, cash drops, and equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area.
• Arrange bottles and glasses attractively.
• Wash and sterilize stemware.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
