Job Summary

Prepares and serves beverages to guests in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Adheres to liquor laws regarding serving alcohol to minors and intoxicated guests.
• Sets up and stocks the bar with all necessary supplies.
• Maintains freshness and quality of garnishes, juices, and perishables.
• Greets guests courteously.
• Takes and processes drink orders, mixes drinks, and garnishes accordingly.
• Checks IDs for alcohol service.
• Detects guest intoxication and acts accordingly.
• Handles cash and verifies charges.
• Secures beverage and cash assets.
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of the work area.
• Arranges bottles and glasses attractively.
• Washes and sterilizes glassware.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
