Job summary

Xperience Restaurant Group (XRG) in Sacramento is seeking a Bartender to warmly greet guests, accurately take food and beverage orders, and ensure timely delivery to guests.

You will follow drink recipes, maintain bar stock, and uphold sanitation and safety standards. Candidates should have at least two years of bartending experience, a High School Diploma, and eligibility to work in the United States. Qualifications

• High School Diploma preferred.
• Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• 21+ years of age.
• Possession of or ability to possess all state required work cards.
• Minimum of two years related bartending experience.
• Experience with POS systems.
• Strong beer and spirits knowledge.
• Sanitation and safety awareness.
• Safe alcohol service.
• Full service restaurant operations experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Provide guests with accurate menu, pricing, and allergen information.
• Recognize and cultivate regular guests and repeat business.
• Take and enter orders into POS system promptly and accurately.
• Serve food and drinks promptly according to specifications.
• Maintain stock levels during the shift.
• Move furniture as directed by management.
• Check guest identifications to verify age of 21+.
• Assist food servers as needed.
• Follow precise drink recipes when dispensing drinks.
• Prioritize and organize service.
• Address guest concerns professionally and escalate when needed.
• Follow safety and liquor laws; maintain sanitation.
• Process guest payments and close checks.
• Record equipment failures and safety hazards.
• Complete nightly/weekly opening/closing duties.
• Keep bar area clean and organized.
• Manage intoxicated guests safely.
