Job summary

Hilton Garden Inn Denver Downtown is seeking a Bartender to craft cocktails and provide attentive bar and dining service to guests. This full-time role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle guest requests with poise, and maintain bar, restaurant and kitchen cleanliness.

Applicants should have prior food and beverage or serving experience, be able to obtain required permits, and be available for evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Previous food and beverage or serving experience required.
• Ability to obtain Food Handler’s Permit and Alcohol Server’s Permit.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to stand and move for an entire shift; able to lift at least 25 pounds.
• Available to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Serve guests in the bar, restaurant and room service attentively and efficiently.
• Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails and other drinks; serve wine, beer and non-alcoholic beverages; serve food as needed.
• Meet guest requests with flexibility and creativity.
• Complete guest orders and accurately collect payments.
• Clean and wash bar ware, utensils and bar area; restock as needed.
• Assist with inventory, ordering and receiving of all food and beverage items.
• Support hotel goals through teamwork with all departments.
