Job summary

Hilton Garden Inn Denver Downtown is seeking an enthusiastic Bartender to deliver a quality food and beverage experience for guests. You will mix cocktails, serve drinks and accompany meals in a fast-paced environment, while engaging guests with friendly conversation.

Qualifications

• Previous food and beverage and/or serving experience is required.
• Some locations may require bartending experience specifically.
• You need strong verbal and written communication skills.
• You must be able to read, write, type and use basic technology.
• This job requires you to stand and move around for an entire shift and you also must be able to lift at least 25 pounds.
• You must be able to obtain a Food Handler’s Permit and Alcohol Server’s Permit.
• Applicants must be available to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Serve guests in the bar, restaurant and room service attentively and efficiently.
• Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails and other drinks; serve wine, beer and non-alcoholic beverages; serve food as needed.
• Meet guest requests with flexibility and creativity.
• Process orders and collect payments accurately.
• Clean and wash bar ware; restock and prep bar items.
• Assist with inventory, ordering and receiving of food and beverage items.
• Support hotel goals through teamwork across departments.
