Proof of the Pudding, the Beloit Sky Carp’s food service partner, is seeking bartenders for seasonal/part-time events in Beloit, WI. You will set up, maintain and run the bar, deliver friendly service, and uphold food safety standards at stadium venues.

Requirements include 2+ years bartending, ability to mix drinks, strong communication, TIPS certification, and a willingness to work nights and weekends. Competitive pay starts at $9/hour plus tips, with on-the-job training and advancement

Responsibilities

• Set up bar before events and break down after events.
• Set bar up in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with bar back for replenishments during shifts.
• Greet guests and provide exceptional customer service.
• Anticipate and respond to guests’ needs during events.
• Clean bar after closing and manage ice disposal.
• Return all items to bar box as received.
• Perform other related duties as required.

Proof of the Pudding, the food service provider for the Beloit Sky Carp, is looking for Bartenders. In this role, you will be responsible for the set‑up, maintenance and operation of the bar, and providing exceptional customer service while adhering to food safety. We are offering competitive pay and on‑the‑job training at one of the most scenic venues in Beloit.

This is seasonal/part-time work as business needs are dictated by athletic events and special events.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for both pre & post bar set‑up/break down responsibilities.
• Sets bar up in a timely manner.
• Communicate well with bar back during event to assist them with replenishment during shift.
• Greeting all guests and give exceptional customer service.
• Attentive to guests’ needs throughout the entire event.
• Cleans bar after closing, discard excess ice.
• Responsible for placing all items back in bar box as originally received.
• PERForms other related duties as required.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience:

• 2+ years of bartending experience.
• Must be a team player and a phenomenal communicator.
• Must be experienced in preparing mixed drinks.
• Must have exceptional customer service skills.
• TIPS must be certified (will accept similar accredited certifications).
• Must be extremely hardworking and organized.
• Must be exceedingly responsible and accountable.
• Maintain good grooming and personal hygiene.
• Knowledge of upscale/VIP service styles required.
• City of Beloit Bartender’s License.
• Live within or near Beloit, WI.

• Ability to perform physical tasks, such as but not limited to, lifting approx. 40 lbs.

Work Environment

The work environment for this position will be event operations and working throughout ABC Supply Stadium.

Uniform Requirements

Physical Demands

• Prolonged periods of being in one place, moving throughout the Premium spaces, bars, storage rooms and suites.
• Bending, lifting, scooping, and carrying miscellaneous equipment and food items.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, such as but not limited to, lifting approx. 30+ lbs.
• Basic reading and mathematical skills.
