Job summary

Hyatt Regency Phoenix is seeking a bartender to deliver exceptional beverage service to hotel and restaurant guests in a friendly, professional setting. You will craft cocktails, maintain bar cleanliness, handle orders, and ensure compliance with liquor laws.

Qualifications

• Bartending experience in hotel/restaurant preferred.
• Knowledge of cocktails, wine, beer, and beverage prep.
• Excellent guest service and communication skills.

• Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Able to stand long hours and lift up to 30 pounds.
• Food handler and alcohol service certifications required or local equivalent.

Position Summary

The Bartender is responsible for providing exceptional food and beverage service to hotel and restaurant guests in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner. This position prepares and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, maintains a clean and organized bar area, and creates a welcoming atmosphere while ensuring compliance with all liquor laws and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards.
• Provide attentive, friendly, and professional service to guests.
• Take beverage and food orders and accurately process transactions.
• Maintain knowledge of menu offerings, specialty cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits.
• Check guest identification and comply with all alcohol service laws and responsible beverage service standards.
• Keep the bar area clean, stocked, organized, and fully supplied throughout the shift.
• Monitor guest consumption and address service concerns professionally.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including inventory, cash handling, and bar setup.
• Maintain proper sanitation, safety, and hygiene standards.
