Job summary

Hotel Erwin in Venice Beach invites applications for a part-time bartender to join the lobby bar team. You will craft cocktails, pour wine and beer, and deliver attentive service in a high-energy setting near the ocean.

Qualifications include 1–2 years in bartending, knowledge of classic cocktails, and the ability to multi-task during peak hours. You must be 21+, available evenings/weekends/holidays, and able to obtain or hold an RBS certification.

• Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits, wine, and beer
• Ability to multitask and stay composed during peak hours
• Excellent communication and guest service skills
• Must be 21+ and able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Valid RBS certification (or ability to obtain before start date)

Responsibilities

What You'll Do

Requirements

Education, Experience and Skill Requirements

• Company in-venue bartender training, Alcohol Awareness Certification, Food Handling Certificate.
• 1-2 years of professional beverage experience.
• Previous bartending experience.
• Experience in a high-volume restaurant/nightclub/lounge.
• Must be able to stand, lift and bend for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to bend and lift to 50 lbs.
• Role may include job duties or tasks requiring repetitive motion.
• Exposure to hot kitchen elements or cleaning materials.
• Must be able to work and remain focused in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule inclusive of varying shifts such as days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
