Job summary

The Harpeth Franklin Downtown, Curio Collection by Hilton is seeking a friendly bartender to join our bar team. You will prepare and serve beverages, assist guests, and ensure compliance with alcohol policies in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities include handling payments, verifying IDs, stocking, and maintaining standards to maximize guest satisfaction and profits. Strong speaking English and team spirit are essential.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent experience.
• 3–6 months experience in a food/beverage service environment.
• Ability to read checks, printouts, and instructions in dim lighting.
• Ability to mix cocktails correctly.
• Ability to provide wine service.
• Manual dexterity to punch buttons and carry trays.
• Ability to read, speak and understand English.

Perform all guest contact activities in a cordial, efficient and professional manner; maintaining a commitment to guest satisfaction. Check customer’s identification to confirm that the customer is of drinking age. Ring guest checks; collect cash and process credits and room charges in the exact manner outlined by company policies and procedures. Complete liquor requisitions and supply lists. Know and comply with state liquor laws, obtain Tips certification. Ensure established pars are maintained.
