Job summary

Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza in Wantagh, NY is seeking a bartender to craft cocktails, deliver attentive hospitality, and create memorable guest experiences.

You will greet guests, take orders, mix drinks, upsell menu items, operate the POS, and maintain a clean, safe bar and dining area. Previous FOH experience and knowledge of the menu are highly desirable; part-time roles with potential to become full-time.

• Stay proactive by restocking the bar, maintaining cleanliness, and keeping the workspace guest-ready at all times.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate strong knowledge of the ACFP menu to confidently answer questions and make suggestive sales.
• Create high-quality, craft cocktails with consistency and care.
• Maintain a full understanding of alcoholic beverage laws and ensure responsible alcohol service.
• Be of legal age to serve alcohol, per state guidelines.
• Build genuine connections with guests, creating memorable dining experiences.
• Operate a point-of-sale (POS) system accurately and efficiently.
• Stand for the duration of your shift and safely lift up to 30 pounds as needed.
• Keep a positive attitude and friendly demeanor throughout each shift.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment, upholding food safety and quality standards.

Previous experience as a bartender, bar back, server, or in any other front-of-house (FOH) restaurant role is highly desirable.
