Job summary

Manito Tap House in Spokane, WA is seeking a part-time bartender with Sunday and Monday availability. We are a locally owned gastropub focused on craft beer and scratch-made dishes.

You will take orders, handle payments, upsell specials, and work with kitchen and bar staff to deliver friendly service while maintaining safety standards and a clean workspace. Benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance eligibility, PTO, and meal discounts.

Qualifications

• Washington State WSFWC and MAST/Class 12 or 13 required.
• One year of restaurant service experience preferred.
• Willing to work weekends and flexible shifts.

Responsibilities

Overview

Manito Tap House is currently hiring part time bartender position with Sunday and Monday availability.

Manito Tap House is a locally owned gastropub. We want to be our neighbors' favorite place to eat, drink, and gather.

We are dedicated to supporting our local community. We pride ourselves on scratch made recipes and unique food. We feature an assortment of gluten friendly, vegetarian and vegan options. We offer fifty tap handles with an emphasis on craft beer.

Wage

• Pay range for position: $17.13 to $17.13 per hour
• Earn tips

Responsibilities/Duties

• Follow all policies and procedures
• On time and attend all meetings
• Take orders and payments from customers for food and beverages following all steps of service guidelines
• Upsell by being proactive with suggestive selling and alerting customers to specials, promotional items and/or events
• Deliver and announce food and drinks to guests with efficiency, accuracy, and enthusiasm
• Accommodate and fulfill any special requests for guests
• Communicate and work with kitchen and bar staff to ensure orders are delivered timely and according to Manito Tap House standards
• Correct any issues courteously and quickly
• Check with customers throughout their meal to ensure that they are enjoying their visit and take action to correct any problems
• Maintain a working knowledge of all food and drink menu items, promotions, ingredients, and prep time
• Assist team members with any additional tasks as needed
• Complete all assigned opening, running, closing duties and side work
• Follow all health and alcohol beverage service standards and maintain a clean workspace
• Adhere to food safety, sanitation and safety guidelines

Skills/Experience

• Washington State Food Worker Card (WSFWC)
• Washington State MAST/Class 12 or 13
• One (1) year previous restaurant service experience preferred
• Willing to work a flexible schedule and weekends
• Ability to effectively listen to and respond to customer needs
• Strong work ethic, reliable, aware of the details
• Ability to multitask efficiently
• Team player with a courteous, friendly and professional demeanor
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds
