Trapper's Sushi Co. in Washington State seeks an engaging Bartender to prepare and serve beverages, delivering a welcoming guest experience while supporting smooth bar operations.

You will follow alcohol service laws, restock inventory, and assist with opening/closing duties alongside a collaborative team. The role requires knowledge of mixology, strong customer service, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and guest preferences.
• Provide excellent guest service by fostering a friendly, professional, and welcoming atmosphere.
• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of the bar and surrounding areas.
• Follow all state, local, and company guidelines for responsible alcohol service and guest safety.
• Restock, rotate, and maintain bar inventory, ensuring accuracy and freshness of products.
• Handle cash, credit card, and POS transactions accurately and responsibly.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including setup, breakdown, and side work.
• Support team members in ensuring smooth front-of-house operations.

Requirements

What You Bring to the Table

• Previous experience as a bartender or in a related role preferred
• Strong knowledge of mixology, drink recipes, and bar equipment
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Valid Washington State MAST (Mixologist/Alcohol Server Training) Permit required prior to first day of work
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Physical Demands & Work Environment

• Regularly required to stand, walk, and reach throughout the shift
• Frequently lift and carry up to 25 lbs.; occasionally up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance
• Work performed in a bar and restaurant environment with exposure to alcohol, cleaning chemicals, hot/cold surfaces, and moderate noise levels
• Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including non-slip footwear, is required
