Job summary

Qualifications

• Ensure sanitation and food safety procedures are followed.

Job description

Manito Tap House is currently hiring for part-time dishwasher positions. Manito Tap House is a locally owned gastropub that strives to be our neighbors' favorite place to eat, drink, and gather.

We are looking for staff that:

We are dedicated to supporting our local community. We pride ourselves on scratch-made recipes and unique food, featuring an assortment of gluten-friendly, vegetarian, and vegan options. We offer fifty tap handles with an emphasis on craft beer.

Wage

• Pay range for position: $17.13 to $17.50 per hour
• Earn weekly tips

Responsibilities / Duties

• Follow all policies and procedures
• Be on time and attend all meetings
• Complete all assigned opening, running, closing duties and side work
• Wash pots, pans, dishes, trays, cooking and eating utensils
• Organize and restock cookware and dishware
• Clean and sanitize dish station equipment and floors
• Perform other kitchen duties as assigned
• Ensure sanitation and food safety procedures, regulations and laws are strictly followed
• Ensure a safe working environment to reduce the risk of incident, injury and food handling related issues

Skills / Experience

• Washington State Food Worker Card (WSFWC)
• One year previous dishwashing experience in a professional and fast-paced environment preferred
• Willing to work a flexible schedule and weekends
• Ability to multitask efficiently
• Familiar with kitchen equipment and appliances
• Strong work ethic, reliable, aware of the details
• Team player with a courteous, friendly and professional demeanor
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time
