Job summary

TRAPPER'S SUSHI INC PUYALLUP is seeking a Bartender to craft beverages and deliver a welcoming guest experience in a fast-paced bar setting.

You will follow recipes, handle transactions, and maintain bar cleanliness while upholding safety standards and TRAPCHK values. Washington state permit,21+ required; benefits include insurance, 401(k), and meal discounts.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a bartender or in a related role preferred.
• Strong knowledge of mixology, drink recipes, and bar equipment.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid Washington MAST permit required prior to first day of work.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and guest preferences.

• Assist with opening and closing duties, including setup, breakdown, and side work.

Requirements

What You Bring to the Table

• Previous experience as a bartender or in a related role preferred

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Valid Washington State MAST (Mixologist/Alcohol Server Training) Permit required prior to first day of work
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Physical Demands & Work Environment

• Regularly required to stand, walk, and reach throughout the shift
• Frequently lift and carry up to 25 lbs.; occasionally up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance
• Work performed in a bar and restaurant environment with exposure to alcohol, cleaning chemicals, hot/cold surfaces, and moderate noise levels
• Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including non-slip footwear, is required
