Job summary

Truffles in Sea Pines is seeking a friendly Bartender to join our team and deliver exceptional service in a casual dining setting. You will learn our menus, alcohol policy and service guidelines, greet guests, upsell beverages and provide menu recommendations.

We value a team player who communicates well, follows responsible alcohol service, and helps create memorable experiences for every guest. Previous bartending experience is a plus; training is provided where needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in bartending is preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication.
• Ability to upsell and make recommendations.
• Familiar with Alcohol Policy and ID checking.
• Completion of TIPS or USERVE training.

Responsibilities

• Smile and be friendly.
• Greet, escort and seat guests.
• Provide menu recommendations and upselling when appropriate.
• Complete TIPS or USERVE Alcohol Awareness Training Programs
• Follow our Alcohol Policy, which includes Checking IDs to prevent minors from ordering alcoholic beverages, and never serving alcohol to anyone that shows visible signs of being intoxicated.
• Prepare alcoholic beverages using our recipes
• Ring in all drinks when served and place a current tab in front of every guest
• Communicate all guest allergy concerns to the manager on duty, expediter and kitchen team.
• Take and ring in ToGo orders
• Thank guests by name and ask them to return
