Job summary

Rehoboth Beach Country Club's Talon Tribe is seeking a friendly Bartender to join our Food & Beverage team. You will craft cocktails, serve guests, and help deliver memorable experiences in a fast-paced club environment. Pay is $25.00/hour (Restaurant) and $28.00/hour (Banquets), with year-round, part-time hours and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Prior bartending or serving experience preferred.
• Knowledge of cocktails, wine, beer, and responsible alcohol service.
• Experience using a POS system preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and club standards.
• Build relationships with members by providing personalized, attentive service.
• Make menu and beverage recommendations, including wine, cocktails, and appetizers.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and communicate special requests to the kitchen.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar throughout each shift.
• Follow all club policies and local/state laws regarding responsible service of alcohol.
• Communicate member feedback or service concerns to the Manager on Duty.
• Assist with inventory, stocking, and other operational duties as needed.

Talon Tribe Bartenders do more than mix drinks—they create welcoming experiences for our members and guests. Whether serving signature cocktails, recommending menu favorites, or remembering a member's favorite beverage, you'll play an important role in delivering exceptional service every shift.

What You'll Do

As a Bartender, you'll:

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and Club standards.

Qualifications

• Previous bartending or serving experience strongly preferred.

• Experience using a POS system is preferred.

• Ability to work independently while also contributing to a collaborative team.
• Weekend and holiday availability is required.

Physical Requirements

This role requires the ability to:

• Stand and walk for extended periods (5–13 hours per shift).
• Frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Bend, reach, stretch, climb stairs, and move efficiently throughout the shift.
• Work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
