Job summary

Rehoboth Beach Country Club is seeking a friendly Bartender to join our Food & Beverage team. This year-round, part-time position offers pay of $25.00/hour for restaurant service and $28.00/hour for banquets, with flexible scheduling and required weekend availability.

You will craft cocktails, serve guests, and help create memorable experiences for members and their guests in a fast-paced hospitality setting. Prior bartending/serving experience and knowledge of POS systems are preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous bartending or serving experience preferred.
• Knowledge of cocktails, wine, beer and responsible alcohol service.
• Experience using a POS system preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Weekend and holiday availability is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve beverages according to recipes and club standards.
• Build relationships with members with personalized, attentive service.
• Recommend menu items, including wine and cocktails.
• Take orders accurately and relay requests to the kitchen.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally.
• Maintain a clean, stocked bar and comply with policies and laws.
• Communicate feedback to the Manager on Duty.
• Assist with inventory and other operational tasks.

Talon Tribe Bartenders do more than mix drinks—they create welcoming experiences for our members and guests. Whether serving signature cocktails, recommending menu favorites, or remembering a member's favorite beverage, you'll play an important role in delivering exceptional service every shift.

What You'll Do

As a Bartender, you'll:

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and Club standards.
• Build relationships with members by providing personalized, attentive service.
• Make menu and beverage recommendations, including wine, cocktails, appetizers, entrées, and desserts.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and communicate special requests to the kitchen.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar throughout each shift.
• Follow all Club policies and local and state laws regarding the responsible service of alcohol.
• Communicate member feedback or service concerns to the Manager on Duty.
• Assist with inventory, stocking, and other operational duties as needed.

Physical Requirements

This role requires the ability to:

• Stand and walk for extended periods (5–13 hours per shift).
• Frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Bend, reach, stretch, climb stairs, and move efficiently throughout the shift.
• Work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
