To serve beverages and/or food to guests in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner, ensuring guest satisfaction. Prepare beverages for other servers and act as a lounge cashier.
Essential Job Functions

- Greet guests courteously, promote and document drink orders, mix, garnish, and present drinks using standard recipes and portion controls.
- Maintain daily bar setup, including requisitioning and stocking beer, wine, spirits, paper products, condiments, and produce based on daily projections.
- Manage stock, cutting, and storing of fresh fruit, vegetables, juices, and perishables to ensure quality.
- Handle cash transactions, verify charges, record transactions, and balance cash drawers.
- Secure beverages, food, and equipment, deposit cash drops, and secure the bank.
- Answer the bar phone promptly, take room service orders accurately, input into the POS system, and create checks to maintain accountability.
- Perform cleaning tasks using standard products to adhere to health standards.
- Follow all company policies, safety, and security procedures, including emergency protocols and reporting unsafe conditions or incidents.
- Maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance as per the team member handbook.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisors or managers.
- Assist other beverage personnel as needed.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Knowledge of liquor regulations regarding serving alcohol to minors and intoxicated guests.
- Hold a current Food Handler Card.
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation and service of alcoholic beverages.
- Basic math skills for operating cash registers, making change, and understanding portion sizes.
- Basic English skills for completing requisitions and vouchers.
- Sufficient manual dexterity for handling tools, glassware, and stock.
- Ability to understand and communicate in basic English.
- Ability to follow written instructions and promote menu items.
- Ability to operate beverage equipment such as coffee makers.
Physical Demands
- Transport up to 30 lbs. frequently throughout the shift.
- Constant standing and walking.
- Frequent twisting, bending, reaching, and smiling.
