Job summary

SPIRE Hospitality is seeking a Bartender to join our Food & Beverage team at our hotels and resorts. You will craft cocktails, serve food with warmth, and create memorable guest experiences.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, Bartending & Mixology certification preferred, Alcohol Beverage Servers and Food Handlers certifications. This is a tipped hourly role with strong growth and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or its equivalent.
• Bartending School or Bartending & Mixology Certification preferred.
• Minimum 1-year bartender experience; hotel experience preferred.
• Alcohol Beverage Servers Certification required.
• Food Handlers Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide guests with exceptional service through genuine engagement and attentiveness.
• Prepare beverage orders, generate checks, and handle payments efficiently.
• Maintain daily organization of the bar with stocked products.
• Monitor inventory levels to prevent stock shortages.
• Reduce spoilage and waste through efficient productivity.
• Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of refrigeration, storage and work areas.

Essential Job Functions

• Provide our guests with exceptional service through genuine engagement and thoughtful attentiveness
• Prepare beverage orders, generate checks, and handle payments efficiently for each guest
• Maintain daily organization of the bar, ensuring all products are stocked and readily accessible
• Monitor inventory levels to prevent stock shortages
• Reduce spoilage and waste through efficient productivity methods
• Ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and optimal functionality of all refrigeration, storage, and work areas

Physical Demands

• Ability to kneel, stoop, pull, grasp, lift and carry, and transport 50 – 75lbs.
• Ability to stand and walk in confined space for entire shift
• Manual dexterity to use and operate food and beverage equipment

Qualifications

Education

• High school diploma or its equivalent
• Completion of Bartending School or Bartending & Mixology Certification preferred

• $9 - $9.75 per hour (Tipped Position)

Experience

• Minimum 1-year Bartender experience in a similar role, size of operation required, hotel experience preferred
• Alcohol Beverage Servers Certification required
• Food Handlers Certification required
