Job summary

Paradies Lagardère in Palm Springs seeks energetic hospitality team members for bar and dining roles. You will warmly greet guests, take drink and food orders, and upsell while delivering a memorable experience to travelers.

You'll prepare cocktails, beer, wines, and food with menu knowledge, check IDs, and ensure responsible service. Maintain a clean, stocked bar and handle POS transactions with care.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and take drink and food orders, and provide menu information while seeking opportunities for additional sales.
• Create a lasting first and last impression with guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Check identification to verify legal drinking age and ensure responsible service.
• Prepare and serve cocktails, beer, wines and food with thorough knowledge of menu offerings.
• Maintain eye for detail using drink mixing tools and garnishes; stock and garnish properly.
• Process transactions through the POS system; handle cash, credit and debit accurately.
• Respond to customer concerns and follow alcohol awareness procedures to prevent intoxication.
• Keep the bar clean, sanitized, and well stocked; perform opening and closing side work as directed.
• Deliver first-class experiences for travelers, whether at a national brand or local concept.

• Stocks and cleans glassware through the operation and maintenance of the glass washer and sanitizer.
• Performs opening and closing side work, as directed.
