Four Seasons Nashville seeks an experienced Bartender for Bacco Restaurant & Bar, a signature Italian dining venue inside the Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences Nashville. The role delivers exceptional beverage service, crafting wines, spirits, and cocktails with precision and flair in a luxury setting.

You will work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with team members to ensure guest satisfaction and expert service.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years bartending or related beverage service experience.
• Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, and mixed drink preparation techniques.
• Ability to accurately process cash and credit card transactions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a wide selection of wines, spirits, and mixed drinks according to established recipes and Four Seasons standards.
• Confirm guest orders, including special requests, and verify completed orders with guest’s original request using the POS system.
• Service and take orders from guests seated at the bar, with engaging descriptions of origin, taste and preparation.
• Maintain knowledge of liquors, wines, ports, Armagnacs, eau de vies, cognacs, and specialty beverages.
• Anticipate guest needs, monitor satisfaction, and respond promptly to concerns or requests.
• Close guest checks, process payments, and manage voided checks or complimentary items.

About The Role

Bacco Restaurant & Bar at Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences Nashville is our signature Italian dining destination, celebrated for authentic cuisine, refined service, and a memorable guest experience. The Bartender plays a key role in delivering exceptional beverage service by preparing and serving wines, spirits, and mixed drinks with precision and professionalism. This role enhances the guest experience by combining technical expertise, creativity, and attentive service in a fast-paced, luxury environment.

What You Will Do

• Prepare and serve a wide selection of wines, spirits, and mixed drinks according to established recipes and Four Seasons standards.
• Confirm guest orders, including special requests, and verify completed orders with the guest’s original request using the point-of-sale system.
• Service and take orders from guests seated at the bar, providing engaging and knowledgeable descriptions of each item, including origin, taste, and preparation methods.
• Maintain a working knowledge of liquors, wines, ports, Armagnacs, eau de vies, cognacs, and specialty beverages.
• Anticipate guest needs, monitor satisfaction, make suggestions, and respond promptly to guest concerns or requests.
• Accurately close guest checks, process cash and credit card payments, and manage voided checks or complimentary items appropriately.
• Collaborate professionally with co-workers and supervisors to maintain smooth bar operations.
• Comply with all Four Seasons Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as outlined in EmPact.
• Assist with bar inventory, food service in the bar area, and preparation of beverage garnishes as needed.

What You Bring

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of two years bartending or related beverage service experience.
• Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, and mixed drink preparation techniques.
• Ability to accurately process cash and credit card transactions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Professional demeanor, attention to detail, and a commitment to guest service excellence.
• Ability to multitask and maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.
