Job summary

Chelsea Hospitality Group's Morris Proper in Morristown seeks an energetic bartender to craft memorable experiences. You will work with management to ensure guest satisfaction, showcase beverages, and contribute to a welcoming environment that reflects CHG’s values.

You'll need strong knowledge of cocktails, be able to lift up to 50 lbs, and stay on your feet during busy shifts. Must be 18+, with TIPS or ServSafe certification to be completed within the first month.

Qualifications

• 1+ years experience as a bartender in a well-rated restaurant.
• Warm and inviting personality, with an ability to make guests feel at home.
• Strong food and beverage knowledge.
• Understanding of proper steps of service and industry-leading hospitality.
• A passion for great service, a must.
• A collaborative and adaptable attitude, with the ability to work effectively across teams and departments.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs (kegs, cases, bar stock).
• Must be 18 years of age or older (NJ legal minimum for bartenders).
• TIPS or ServSafe Certification required; must be completed within first month of hire.

• Foster relationships: build and maintain trusting relationships with Chelsea Hospitality Group leaders.
• Have working knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits, beer, and wine and make confident recommendations.
