Job summary

Tandem Hospitality Group LLC in Morgantown, WV is seeking a bartender to provide an excellent guest experience, craft signature cocktails, and recommend local beers and wines while supporting a welcoming bar atmosphere at Hotel Morgan.

You will prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, engage guests, check IDs, manage inventory, and ensure compliance with beverage regulations while maintaining a clean, organized bar and accurate cash handling.

Responsibilities

• Prepare both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for bar and restaurant patrons
• Interact with customers, take orders and serving
• Assess customers' needs and preferences and make recommendations
• Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
• Plan and present bar menu
• Check customers' identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
• Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
• Stay guest focused and provide an excellent guest experience
• Comply with all food and beverage regulations
• Superior knowledge of classic cocktails
• Exemplify outstanding communication skills, create unique experiences for guests
• Strong and efficient work ethic, including keeping a clean and tidy work area and guest areas
