Job summary

The STRAT Las Vegas is seeking a bartender responsible for mixing and serving beverages according to established recipes, while maintaining cleanliness and guest service excellence.

You will ensure accurate cash handling and compliance with Title 31 and Nevada gaming regulations, while delivering fast, friendly service in a high-energy environment.

This role requires at least 1 year of bartending experience in a high-volume setting, good communication, and a team-oriented attitude.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide timely and courteous guest service consistent with the company's guest service culture.

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the bar area, including bar tops and line equipment.
• Refill and stock garnishes, glassware, and bar supplies.
• Follow proper cash handling, comp, and POS (Info Genesis) procedures.
• Maintain sound and music levels as directed by management.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws, company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, if they apply to the position.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company's guest service culture standards.

Requirements

• At least 21 years of age.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal.
• Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company.
• Verify right to work in the United States.
• Work cards: Food Handlers Card, Alcohol Awareness Card, Nevada Gaming Registration, Union Pour Card.

Physical Requirements

• Regularly push/pull up to 50 lbs.
• Regularly lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs. at floor, knee, waist, and chest levels.
• Frequently squat, kneel, reach, bend, twist.
• Occasionally sit and work at a desk or computer.
