Job summary

ECL Gaming Operations is seeking experienced bartenders who bring passion for hospitality and a high-energy service mindset. You will craft a variety of beverages, manage gaming tickets, and uphold strict age checks in a fast-paced environment.

The role demands strong upselling, accurate cash handling, and familiarity with POS systems, gaming promotions, and club programs. Join us in delivering exceptional guest experiences at our property.

Qualifications

• Previous bartending experience in a high-volume establishment.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Nevada Gaming Registration and a Nye County Liquor Permit.
• Computer knowledge of gaming system and a Player's Club program.
• Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures.
• Ability to perform basic retail math calculations for cash transactions.
• Strong sales skills to upsell and promote specials or featured drinks.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and move continuously for extended periods (up to 8 hours or more).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25-50 pounds, including cases of beverages, kegs, and supplies.
• Frequent bending, reaching, and twisting to access bar supplies, glassware, and equipment.
• Ability to handle repetitive motions such as shaking, stirring, pouring, and serving drinks.
• Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination to safely operate bar tools and equipment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with varying noise levels, temperature changes, and lighting conditions.
• Clear vision and hearing to safely interact with guests and monitor surroundings.
• Ability to communicate clearly with guests and team members in a loud or busy environment.
