Job summary

The George Sportsmen's Lounge in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a full-time Bartender to craft and pour drinks, serve guests, and contribute to a high-energy bar and lounge environment. You will maintain bar cleanliness, restock supplies, and ensure accurate transactions throughout each shift.

Ideal candidates are at least 21, with prior bartending experience, strong customer service, and fluent English. Health, alcohol, and non-gaming clearances are required, with an emphasis on friendly, engaging

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Previous bartender or apprentice bartender experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to communicate with guests to meet their immediate needs.
• Previous money-handling and cash register experience preferred.
• Must possess a valid Alcohol Awareness Card (TAM/ACT) and Health Card.
• Must possess a valid Non-Gaming LVMPD card (Sheriff's Card).
• Must be able to reach, stoop, bend, lift and clean during shift.
• Must be able to communicate fluently in English.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a smile and eye contact, and provide superior guest service.
• Prepare and pour drinks accurately for guests and cocktail servers as needed.
• Efficiently serve food and beverages following service standards.
• Understand and demonstrate proper recipe adherence, as well as liquor, beer and wine service.
• Possess thorough knowledge of all menu items and upsell to guests.
• Set up service station at start of shift, and breakdown station at end of shift.
• Clean bar and lounge area, including bar top, sinks, glassware, lounge tables, and storage areas.
• Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of restaurant when necessary.
• Restock bar products, garnish trays, and ice bins during shift.
• Assist in receipt, transport and storage of beverage products.
• Restock bar inventory and change beer kegs and soda BIBs.
• Cut fruit and garnishes to specifications for cocktails.
• Empty trash cans to maintain service and sanitation standards.
• Must pass a Pour Test.
• Process all transactions correctly and present receipts.
• Run food to tables and bus tables as needed.
• Perform assigned side work.
• Actively market FINE ENTERTAINMENT venues by collecting guest's personal information for the marketing database.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment per health district guidelines.
• Adhere to all Department and Company Policies and Procedures.
