Job summary

Bronson Club at Storey Lake in Kissimmee, FL is seeking a friendly Part-Time Bartender to join Troon, a global leader in golf and hospitality management. You will craft classic and innovative drinks, engage guests, and contribute to a memorable bar experience.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, 1–3 months of related experience, excellent mixing and service skills, and proficiency with POS systems. ServSafe or equivalent certification is preferred.

We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. Compensation: $11.98 per hour plus Service Charges

Overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic Bartender to provide an excellent guest drinking experience. Good Bartenders will be able to create classic and innovative drinks exceeding customers’ needs and expectations. Compensation includes salary and tips.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons
• Interact with customers, take orders and serve snacks and drinks
• Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
• Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
• Plan and present bar menu
• Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
• Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
• Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
• Comply with all food and beverage regulations
• Requirements and skills
• Resume and proven working experience as a Bartender
• Excellent knowledge of in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
• Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
• Performs other duties as required

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Preferred Requirements:

Experience in restaurant point-of-sale (POS) systems (e.g. POSITOUCH and MICROS)

Physical Demands:

• Frequently stands, walks, talks, hears, and uses hands
• Regularly reaches with hands and arms
• Occasionally climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crawls, crouches; tastes, smells and sits
• Frequently lifts up to 25 pounds
• Occasionally may lift up to 50 pounds

Certificates/Licenses:

ServSafe Certified (Food & Alcohol) or TIPS equivalent.

Job Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Preferences:

Knowledge of wine, spirits, beer and current trends in industry and marketplace

Possesses the knowledge of cocktail recipes

Professional and courteous demeanor

Demonstrate a strong commitment to company values

Exceptional personal hygiene and positive representation of the organization to Troon employees, clients and vendors

Fluent in English speaking, writing and understanding

Must meet state age requirements for handling alcoholic beverages
