Job summary

Reading Country Club in Reading, PA is seeking a part-time Bartender to join our hospitality team. You will mix and serve beverages, maintain inventory, and support seasonal menu development with a friendly, guest-focused approach.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and 1–3 months of related experience; familiarity with POS systems is a plus. Flexibility with shifts and a commitment to safe, compliant service are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 1–3 months related experience and/or training.
• Must meet state age requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.
• Experience with POS systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Stocks bar, mixes and serves alcoholic beverages, assists in cost control, inventory and maintains inventory records.
• Assists department leaders with creation of seasonal cocktails and development of menu.
• Assists department leaders with Social Media schedule and creation of content.
• Maintains inventory control through careful monitoring of all products; communicates needs to management.
• Ensure compliance with state liquor laws and SOPs; communicate guest requests to management.
• Performs opening/closing duties including inventory, cash control, cleaning, and restocking.
• Reviews banquet schedule and serves catered events from service or portable bars.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
