Job summary

Olympia Hospitality is hiring a bartender to work with guests at the Hilton Garden Inn/Durham University Medical Center. You will mix and serve drinks, verify age, handle payments, and maintain bar inventory with a focus on exceptional guest service.

Bartenders work directly with customers by mixing and serving drink orders. Their responsibilities include verifying age requirements, knowing alcohol pairing and tastes, knowing how to make traditional and classy drinks, processing payments, managing inventory, and cleaning bar supplies.

Rate of Pay $14.00-$15.00/hour

Skills Required

• Provide high-level customer service, communicate effectively with guests and team members, follow instructions, ability to learn quickly, pay attention to detail, and maintain composure when working under pressure.

Experience / Education

• Previous bartending experience preferred; must be of legal age in order to serve alcohol, per state law; high school diploma and/or equivalent work experience; TIPS certified preferred; Allergy Awareness training helpful.
