Job summary

Bar Genevieve, part of Olympia Hospitality, seeks a Bar Back to stock, clean barware, and support the bartender, ensuring smooth operations and a positive guest experience.

We value teamwork, attention to detail, and a can-do attitude in a fast-paced environment. Prior bar experience and TIPS certification preferred; health and wellness benefits are offered to eligible teammates.

Qualifications

• Provide high level customer service to guests and team members.

Responsibilities

• Stock bottles, beverages, ice and supplies needed during service.
• Wash and restock barware/glasses.
• Remove dirty dishes, glasses and silverware and place in prep trays.
• Prepare bar for service and refill condiments and supplies.
• Fill condiment containers, ice and other bar supplies.
• Perform opening and closing work as requested.
• Safely use cleaning compounds and chemicals.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Stock bottles, beverages, ice and supplies needed during service
• Wash and restock barware/glasses
• Remove dirty dishes, glasses and silverware, place in respective trays
• Prepare bar for service – wipe clean, refill all condiments and supplies at the end of each shift
• Fill condiment containers, ice, other bar/table supplies
• Perform opening and closing work as requested
• Safely use appropriate cleaning compounds and chemicals

Skills Required

Provide high level customer service, communicate effectively with guests and team members, follow instructions, ability to learn quickly, pay attention to detail, and maintain composure when working under pressure

Experience / Education

Previous experience and TIPS certification preferred
