Job summary

Olympia Hospitality is looking for a bartender to join our team in Colorado. You will craft and serve drinks, verify age, process orders, and keep the bar stocked and clean. This role emphasizes friendly guest service, knowledge of drink pairings, and accurate payment handling.

Experience in bartending is preferred, and a valid tip certification is a plus. We value a proactive, detail-oriented approach and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be of legal age to serve alcohol per state law.
• Previous bartending experience preferred.
• TIPS certification is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Mix and serve traditional and classy drinks to customers.
• Verify age requirements and handle payments efficiently.
• Maintain inventory and clean bar supplies regularly.
• Know drink pairings and taste profiles for recommendations.

Bartenders work directly with customers by mixing and serving drink orders. Their responsibilities include verifying age requirements, knowing alcohol pairing and tastes, knowing how to make traditional and classy drinks, processing payments, managing inventory, and cleaning bar supplies.

Skills Required

• Provide high-level customer service, communicate effectively with guests and team members, follow instructions, ability to learn quickly, pay attention to detail, and maintain composure when working under pressure.

Experience / Education

• Previous bartending experience preferred; must be of legal age in order to serve alcohol, per state law; high school diploma and/or equivalent work experience; TIPS certified preferred; Allergy Awareness training helpful.
