Job summary

The North Conway Grand Hotel, managed by Olympia Hospitality, invites you to join our guest-focused team as a bartender. You will mix and serve drinks, ensuring each guest receives exceptional service in a fast-paced setting.

You will verify age, understand drink pairings, handle payments, manage inventory, and keep the bar area clean and organized. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and a supportive, growth-oriented culture.

Qualifications

• Provide high-level customer service to guests and team members.
• Communicate clearly and professionally in person and over the bar.
• Learn fast to handle recipes, pours and procedures.
• Pay attention to details and stay organized during busy shifts.
• Maintain composure and professionalism under pressure.

Responsibilities

Bartenders work directly with customers by mixing and serving drink orders. Their responsibilities include verifying age requirements, knowing alcohol pairing and tastes, knowing how to make traditional and classy drinks, processing payments, managing inventory, and cleaning bar supplies.

Skills Required

• Provide high-level customer service, communicate effectively with guests and team members, follow instructions, ability to learn quickly, pay attention to detail, and maintain composure when working under pressure.

Experience / Education

• Previous bartending experience preferred; must be of legal age in order to serve alcohol, per state law; high school diploma and/or equivalent work experience; TIPS certified preferred; Allergy Awareness training helpful.
