Job summary

Olympia Hospitality is hiring a Bar Back to support the bar team at Bar Genevieve. The role focuses on stocking bottles, keeping barware clean, and ensuring the behind-the-scenes operation runs smoothly to help the bartender deliver excellent service to guests every shift.

You will work in a fast-paced, physical environment requiring stamina and teamwork. Prior bar experience and a TIPS certification are preferred, and we offer a supportive, growth‑oriented workplace with competitive benefits.

• Previous experience in bar service and TIPS certification preferred.
• Provide high level customer service and effective communication.
• Ability to learn quickly and pay attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Stock bottles, beverages, ice and supplies needed during service
• Wash and restock barware/glasses
• Remove dirty dishes, glasses and silverware, place in respective trays
• Prepare bar for service – wipe clean, refill all condiments and supplies at the end of each shift
• Fill condiment containers, ice, other bar/table supplies
• Perform opening and closing work as requested
• Safely use appropriate cleaning compounds and chemicals

The Bar Back safely and efficiently ensures bar is properly stocked, barware is clean, and generally supports the smooth and efficient behind-the-scenes operation of the bar for the bartender. Experience / Education:

Previous experience and TIPS certification preferred
