Linger in Denver is seeking team members for its high‑energy bar with a globally‑inspired, street‑food concept. Located in the historic Olinger building, the spot offers a rooftop experience and diverse guest service needs across casual to fine dining. In year 1, earnings range from $34 to $39 per hour on average (tips included).

Description

Linger’s globally-inspired, street-food menu is influenced by makeshift kitchens and streetside nooks from around the world. Housed in the former Olinger mortuary, the decor layers macabre remnants of the history of the building, with posh vintage details in a window-flanked space overlooking the Lower Highlands neighborhood. Featuring one of Denver’s largest rooftop patios, outfitted with a 1975 GMC “Bar-V” and a repurposed food truck, Linger is one of Denver’s signature destination dining and gathering spaces.

In year 1 earn between $34–$39* per hour on average ( with tips included). Wages go higher from there based on tenure and proficiency.

*Base wage of $19.29/hour plus tips through a tip pool system. Tips are shared across the team and added to your hourly pay

• Ability to work in a high volume bar in restaurant
• Background in chef & culinary driven food concepts w/ craft cocktail, wine, and beer programs & knowledge
• Willingness to learn, manage, and communicate extensive ingredient & product knowledge
• Desire and ability to learn & work multiple positions over time
• Flexibility to operate comfortably in changing and fluid service environments with a broad range of guest expectations, from casual to fine dining
• Committed to sustainable waste practices
• Mindset around learning and personal development
• Brings energy and a positive attitude
• Works well collaboratively and individually

Requirements

• Physical stamina to stand & move throughout the duration of a shift
• Open availability including nights & weekends
• Must be able to lift over 20lbs multiple times per shift
