Job summary

Hilton Garden Inn Downtown Dallas is seeking a Bartender to join their Food & Beverage team. You will prepare and serve cocktails, beer and wine, greet guests, and provide recommendations in a fast-paced hotel bar environment.

Requirements include a high school diploma (bartending certification preferred) and at least 1 year of bartending or high-volume restaurant experience. Proficiency with POS systems and knowledge of drink recipes are essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve cocktails, beer, wine, and other beverages according to standard recipes.
• Greet and engage guests, take orders, and provide recommendations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar area, including counters, equipment, and glassware.
• Restock liquor, mixers, garnishes, glassware, and supplies throughout the shift.
• Process payments accurately using POS systems; handle cash and tabs responsibly.
• Verify guest identification to ensure legal drinking age compliance.
• Follow all sanitation, safety, and alcohol service policies and procedures.
• Assist with bar opening and closing duties.
• Report any equipment or maintenance needs promptly.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
