Job summary

Hilton Garden Inn Downtown Dallas is seeking a part-time Restaurant Server to provide warm, efficient service, take and deliver orders, and maintain table cleanliness in a busy dining room.

Ideal candidates have prior hospitality experience, strong customer service skills, and familiarity with POS systems and cash handling. This role supports the Food & Beverage team in delivering an exceptional guest experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous serving or hospitality experience preferred.
• Experience with POS systems and cash handling a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and provide friendly, attentive service.
• Present menus, answer questions, and take accurate orders.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and input them into the POS system.
• Deliver food and drinks promptly, ensuring proper presentation and temperature.
• Check back with guests regularly and anticipate needs.
• Process payments, handle cash, and balance receipts accurately.
• Maintain table cleanliness, reset tables, and support dining room organization.
• Communicate guest needs and concerns to management or kitchen staff as needed.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service guidelines.
• Assist with opening, closing, and side work duties.
