Job summary

The Le Méridien Sheraton Charlotte Hotel in Uptown Charlotte is seeking a personable Bartender to join our StepStone Hospitality managed team. You will mix beverages, take orders, and ensure guest satisfaction in a fast-paced hospitality setting.

Ideal candidates have 3–6 months of related experience, knowledge of health and safety regulations, and a strong service mindset. This is a part-time position with AM and PM shifts.

Qualifications

• Three to six months of related bartending experience.
• Ability to obtain licenses and certificates as required.
• CPR and first aid training preferred.
• Additional language ability preferred.
• Strong communication and guest service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve beverages according to recipes and guest preferences.
• Take beverage and food orders with excellent guest service.
• Verify identification and serve alcohol responsibly.
• Process payments using the POS system.
• Maintain a clean, stocked bar and set up and break down the bar.
• Report guest concerns and inventory needs to management.
• Follow company policies and health and safety regulations.
• Assist service personnel as needed.

The Le Méridien Sheraton Charlotte Hotel is currently seeking a dynamic, motivated, and service-oriented individual for the position of Bartender to join our team at our StepStone Hospitality managed hotel. The Le Méridien Sheraton Charlotte Hotel, located in Uptown Charlotte, is a 605-room dual-branded property with 65,000 square feet of meeting and conference space.

The ideal candidate will have three to six months of related experience, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding guest service in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and guest preferences.
• Take beverage and food orders while providing exceptional guest service.
• Verify guest identification and serve alcohol responsibly.
• Process payments accurately using the POS system.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar area.
• Set up and break down the bar before and after each shift.
• Report guest concerns and inventory needs to management.
• Follow all company policies and food, beverage, health, and safety regulations.
• Assist all service personnel in any duties as requested.

Part-Time: AM & PM Shifts Available

Requirements

• Must have a comprehensive knowledge of all hotel departments and functions.
• Must know applicable Federal, state, and local health, safety, and legal regulations.
• High school education preferred. Relevant training and experience required.
• Ability to obtain required licenses and certificates.
• CPR training and first aid training preferred.
• Additional language ability preferred.
