Job summary

Anderson International Corp is seeking a production associate to operate automated, semi-automated and manual tools to produce barrel bars to specification. You will follow go/no-go gauging, use a hydraulic press, and inspect finished parts to ensure quality.

The role requires basic math and computer literacy for ERP entries, with tasks that are highly repetitive and safety-driven in a plant setting. Training on day shift until 3rd shift is implemented at beginning of 2027.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and write, comprehend, and articulate information both verbal and written.
• Perform simple math calculations and read manufacturing paperwork.
• Basic computer literacy to transact in ERP system.
• Attention to detail and quality control.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work with automated, semi-automated and manual equipment.

Responsibilities

• Use go/no-go gauges to sort material for straightness.
• Utilize hydraulic press to straighten material to specification.
• Check products using product-specific gauges.
• Operate automated and semi-automated grinding machines to required specs.
• Etch product with laser engraver.
• Box finish product.
• Record work in ERP system.
• Perform routine maintenance and ensure good housekeeping.
• Adhere to health and safety policies and Anderson International procedures.
• Collaborate with peers and management to maintain a safe work environment.
