Job summary

Anderson International in Ohio is seeking a production operator to support the manufacturing of proprietary barrel bars. You will operate automated and semi-automated grinders, use gauges to ensure straightness, and finish products to specification.

Responsibilities include laser etching, ERP data entry, routine maintenance, and adhering to safety policies while collaborating with peers to maintain a safe, efficient plant environment.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent.
• Ability to read and write, comprehend, and articulate information both verbal and written.
• Perform simple math calculations, including measurements and reading manufacturing paperwork.
• Attention to detail regarding aesthetics and quality of work.
• Must be able to operate automated, semi-automated, and manual tools.

Responsibilities

• Operate automated, semi-automated, and mechanical tools to produce barrel bars to specification.
• Use go/no-go gauges to sort material for straightness.
• Use hydraulic press to straighten material to spec.
• Grind products with automated and semi-automated grinding machines to spec.
• Etch product with laser engraver; box finish product.
• Enter work data in ERP system via computer/tablet; maintain records.
