Job summary

Anderson International is seeking a production operator to operate automated, semi-automated, and manual equipment to produce barrel bars to specified tolerances. You will sort, grind, laser-etch, and finish products while recording results in the ERP system and maintaining a clean, safe work area.

The role requires high school or equivalent, ability to read drawings, perform basic math, and work well in a team. Overtime and plant-floor duties are expected.

Qualifications

• Read, write and understand manufacturing paperwork and drawings.
• Attention to detail and quality standards are essential.
• Able to operate automated, semi-automated, and manual tools.
• Basic computer literacy and ERP system usage.

Responsibilities

• Operate automated, semi-automated, and mechanical tools to produce barrel bars to specification.
• Sort material for straightness using go/no-go gauges and straighten with hydraulic press.
• Check products with gauges; grind with grinding machines; laser etch; box finish.
• Record work in ERP system and maintain documentation.
• Perform routine maintenance and keep a safe, clean work area.
• Comply with health, safety, and company policies.
• Collaborate with peers and management to maintain safe, productive operations.
