Job summary

Bottega Louie Restaurant, Gourmet Market & Patisserie in West Hollywood, CA, seeks a Barista to join our team. You will craft coffees and teas, handle the register, and contribute to a premium guest experience in a bustling market and cafe setting.

Starting pay is $20.25 per hour plus tips. Full-time position with health benefits, paid vacation, and sick time; applicants must be able to lift 35 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain the register and properly handle cash.
• Enter tips, place orders accurately, and keep a balanced drawer.
• Work closely with staff to ensure a smooth flow of service.
• Communicate needs and stay close to the register.
• Create all coffees and teas for the market and cafe.
• Adhere to recipe standards and sanitation guidelines.

• Keep station organized and stocked; restock as needed.

Barista Responsibilities

Include but not limited to:

• Maintain the register and properly handle cash
• Enter tips, place orders accurately, and keep a balanced drawer
• Work closely with other staff to create a steady flow of service
• Communicate any needs and stay close to the register
• Create all of Bottega Louie’s coffees and teas for the market and café
• Responsible for abiding by Bottega Louie recipe standards, sanitation standards, and maintaining speed of service
• Barista makes every drink with care and to the guests’ likings
• Keeps a well stocked and organized work station and communicates any needs to utility or a manager
• Keep a clean and well stocked market
• Take out the trash, retrieve products, and restock
• Properly store and rotate macrons
• Assist with filling macaron trays and organizing macaron bins
• Accurately describe all pastries and upsell to guests
• Package all pastries for guests
• Consolidate pastries and stock as needed

Compensation

• Beginning at $20.25/hr + Tips
