Alfred is seeking a Training Coordinator to develop confident, skilled, and hospitality-driven team members across cafes and training facilities in Los Angeles. You’ll lead Barista Basics classes, perform Barista Skills Assessments, and coach staff to uphold Alfred’s standards of quality and service.

The role emphasizes strong communication, mentorship, and a passion for specialty coffee, with responsibilities spanning classroom training, live coaching, and in-cafe support.

Formación

• 2–3+ years of experience in specialty coffee, food and beverage, or hospitality, with demonstrated experience training, coaching, or developing team members.
• Strong working knowledge of specialty coffee, beverage preparation, cafe operations, and hospitality standards.
• Experience facilitating hands-on training, assessing employee performance, and delivering constructive, actionable feedback.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage, motivate, and support individuals with different learning styles and experience levels.

Responsabilidades

• Lead Barista Basics classes and facilitate hands-on training in cafe and training lab environments.
• Conduct Barista Skills Assessments to evaluate and certify team members in beverage preparation and execution.
• Deliver engaging, structured instruction covering hospitality, beverage preparation, food safety, operational procedures, and Alfred brand standards.
• Provide real-time coaching, constructive feedback, and practical demonstrations to reinforce learning and build confidence.
• Reinforce consistency in beverage quality, presentation, customer service, and safety and sanitation practices.
• Support the introduction of new menu items, seasonal beverages, and food programs through hands-on training and education.
