Job summary

Alfred Coffee is seeking a Training Coordinator to develop confident, hospitality-driven team members across cafes and the training lab. You will lead Barista Basics classes, run Barista Skills Assessments, and deliver practical instruction on hospitality, beverage prep, food safety, and Alfred brand standards.

The ideal candidate has 2–3+ years in specialty coffee or hospitality training, strong communication, and a collaborative approach to coaching across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years of experience in specialty coffee, food & beverage, or hospitality, with demonstrated experience training, coaching, or developing team members.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate diverse learners.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to balance training schedules, documentation, and multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Lead Barista Basics classes and hands-on cafe training.
• Conduct Barista Skills Assessments to certify team members in beverage preparation.
• Deliver structured instruction covering hospitality, beverage prep, food safety, and Alfred brand standards.
• Provide real-time coaching and constructive feedback to reinforce learning.
• Support introduction of new menu items and seasonal beverages through training.
