Job summary

Blank Street, Inc. is seeking a Training Associate to elevate barista and shift lead training across Washington, DC and Philadelphia. You will guide onboarding, accreditation, and in-store coaching while partnering with Operations to build capable, confident teams delivering exceptional coffee and hospitality.

You’ll drive improvements via field feedback, lead store-wide trainings, and shape training programs for long-term success in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years barista and training experience.
• Ability and willingness to travel regularly between stores across Washington, DC and Philadelphia.
• Strong time management and prioritization.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the new hire training program journey and partner with ops to ensure a positive experience.
• Lead in-store trainings, large-group sessions at the lab, and final bar assessments.
• Provide area training support, certifications, and product launch facilitation.
• Develop reporting to drive store improvements and maintain recipe quality.
• Foster cross-functional relationships and a learning culture.
• Mentor Training Coordinators and support future project work.
