Blank Street, Inc. in Boston is hiring a Training Associate to elevate our barista and shift lead training from onboarding to accreditation.

You will coach teams in-store, partner with Operations, and help deliver exceptional coffee and hospitality. This in-person role reports to the Training and Product Quality Manager and requires a passion for coffee, ownership, and a knack for building learning programs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years barista and training experience.
• A master of time management and prioritization
• Expert in milk steaming with precise textures for lattes, flat whites, and cappuccinos
• Consistently pours clean hearts, tulips, and rosettas with intentional technique

Responsibilities

• Oversee barista training journey and ensure positive onboarding experience.
• Lead in-store trainings and large group trainings at the lab, and finish bar assessments.
• Provide area training support with shift lead certifications and new product launches.
• Conduct quarterly assessments to raise product quality and develop actionable reporting.
• Maintain knowledge of all products/recipes to ensure quality adherence.
• Develop cross-functional reporting tools to improve store performance.
• Foster a learning culture and motivate teams.
• Inspire with coffee knowledge and tailor training approaches.
• Support cross-functional projects to ensure 5-star barista experience.
• Support development of future Training Coordinators.
